Edison Inset

Edison, NJ - 2007

I was commissioned to create a series of indoor bronze insets for Edison New Jersey to celebrate Thomas Edison, the town’s namesake. It was here where he set up his home and research. My works consisted of an octagonal bronze history map set up in an atrium and a number of diamond shaped bronze insets in the hallway that led to the atrium. My favorite was a portrait of Edison’s head surrounded by different shaped bulbs that he invented.
